About this blog

This blog was created to make it easier for my friends to keep up with my book-writing process. The book is called "Journey to the Heart of God". It is about the importance of pursuing God's righteousness in order to live as He intended so that we can live a full and abundant life: the eternal life Christ came to give us. Happy reading! :D

That time of year

Yep. It's spring. That time of year when life gets really busy. For me, anyway. On top of the things I've done to occupy myself during the winter, I get to add all the outdoor things like yard work and gardening. I also have a few horses who've gotten lazy over the winter months and need some training. The good news is I have a couple of *ahem* "young men" who are wanting to take on some horses. The bad news is I have to train them, too. But if eventually they'll help lighten my load in that area, I don't mind the extra effort now.
Now I don't mind being so busy, but I have to say, it's really bad for my blogging and book-writing life. I far prefer being outdoors to being indoors and I prefer working with my hands to working with my head. Consequently I am extremely unaddicted to the computer and even pens and paper right now. This, of course, is a bit of a quandary, considering the goals I have to finish drafting "Journey" by June. I could do it if I worked at it, but lately I just haven't been working at it. Bad, I know, but it's soooooo hard to concentrate on writing when there's storms to watch and gardens to plant and such. *sigh*
Do you prefer to be outside when the weather's nice (or fun), or are you an indoors type? What's your biggest roadblock to writing?

I love both. But here we have such good weather most year around-I can be inside to write and not notice it, too much. I love the outdoors too. My problem is probably me. A procrastinator....sigh....

Yeah, I'm a procrastinator too. That really doesn't help matters ^_^
